Not bad. Went well with my flank steak and artichokes this evening. However, this isn't one of my preferred Cabernets. There is certainly a taste (and nose) of oak here. I'd go so far as to say there's a hint of walnut...

Okay, this stuff is pretty bad. I'm a little disappointed in this Yellow Tail varietal since the Shiraz scored so well.

This bottle was ridiculously sweet for a Pinot. Retarded sweet really. Not good.

Skip it... No, really, skip it.

Not too bad. Not too great. This wine was okay. I just wouldn't buy it again. Therefore, the 2 STAR rating.

There isn't much going on here. Not much flavor, but, yet, somehow not super smooth like most bottles lacking such. Just blandness.

There's a dark flavor here and certainly some earth. Let's call it a currant taste. But that's about it.

Cherry and Blackberry here with a stringent woody aftertaste. Decent stuff though. I wouldn't refuse it, and I'd purchase a bottle or two for a impromptu party.

Another good wine, and I enjoy the label. This syrah is a bit on the sweet side. A real raspberry flavor followed by something I can't quite place. Something less sweet. Licorice comes to mind, but that just isn't it.

Anyway, the aroma and palate comes together nicely. It's just not a great wine. It's just a good, solid bottle of vino.

This is one tasty beverage! The color: ruby as ruby can be. The nose: very fresh and fruity. The flavor: very, very good. There are hints of darker berries here but not bitter in any way. A really smooth and delicious wine.

The name is kinda groovy too. You really need to give this bottle a try.

Okay, this is going to sound bad, but really it's not. This wine was nearly flavorless, which one might associate with "bad" or at least "not-so-great." But, no. This is a very palatable wine. I somehow found its lack of flavor as a plus. I feel like this bottle could be served with anything imaginable and still enhance its flavor.

This wine will neither woo nor disgust. It's a safe bet at any gathering, and therefore I give it a 3 STAR rating. I'd go so far as to recommend this wine at any eclectic social event...

Palate? For lack of better description, I taste Earth. Nothing bitter. Smooth as smooth can be.

Geez. Now I feel like I was raving... I wasn't. What I meant to pass on to you was just this: This syrah is Non-offensive.

Here's another average wine. Good. Not great. Inexpensive. Maybe a tad on the sweeter side for a Shiraz.

These bottles seem to be about as readily available as bot Yellow Tail and Alice White and similar in quality. There seems to be several cheap, inexpensive Aussie wines out there at the moment. I enjoy each of them. However, none of them are my favorites... so far.

A little sweet but not overly so. However, I don't usually associate sweet with Pinot Noir, so something is amiss here. Decent wine though. Don't NOT try it.

A nice Shiraz. A few tannins here, but the flavor is nice. Bright, rich color. A wonderful Shiraz with a fantastic label. Who wouldn't love a Fat Bastard Hippo? Well done Fat Bastard.

This is a pretty darn good Valpolicella. A bit dry, but very good. Dark cherry and oak flavors. No bitter aftertaste. Smooth going down. A very earthy wine. Nice.

I was a little apprehensive about such an inexpensive Valpolicella. But it was good. I'm looking forward to continuing through this vessle of goodness with my upcoming meal of smoked salmon over penne with a light cream sauce!
