A good blend. Merlot and Cabernet blends tend to compliment very well. These varietals tend to be on opposite ends of the grape spectrum for me. Therefore, the combination of both tends to produce a somewhat medium flavor. Merlot will cancel the bitter of Cabernet, while Cabernet tends to tone down the sweetness of Merlot. Overall, I would say this is a good wine. I almost gave it 4 stars...
